Unknown
A lost soul
wandering the earth.
One step forward
two steps back.
Pictures stand still
representing time
in a sequence.
Space in between
and so far apart.
The days turn to nights
and the nights to days.
As if the world
has its own existence.
I stop and stare
for a while.
Wondering if just once
I could touch it.
It’s painted with colors
unknown to the eye.
It stops for no one
nor wonders why.
The world is spinning
just like my mind.
It never stops
to sleep.
The soul is unaware
of such beauty.
Although it tries-
epic fail.
The world will remain
a mystery.
And my mind will
continue to unwind.
Maybe one day
it will reveal.
As for now though
I will bask in the unknown.
